Propane tank, underground since 2005, no cathodic testing nor anodes, should I just buy or headache? Suburban Propane

I've been meaning to post this. Bought a house two years ago, has propane that's underground (57 gallon, 48 gallon filled), and we are paying $200/annually to rent tank. House was built in 2005, and here in Tampa, FL area, code did not require anodes or any catholic testing until 2011. Been thinking about switching companies, to keep our options open. Cost to buy tank is about $400. Will it be fine for another 30 years or is this just a headache? Am I overthinking this? Obviously the allure of renting is to not be responsible for any tank maintenance...

I was also told that due to being in a flood zone, if I were to ever replace this tank I'd need to have a 4" concrete pad on bottom to attach tank to, then rebury it. I figured I'd just throw that out there... Although to be fair it did recently flood and that tank didn't go anywhere. Anyhoo...

What would you do?

1990 15HP Merc two stroke and 8HP Merc two stroke parts question

I've got two old outboards:

1990 15HP Mercury two stroke

2000 8HP Mercury two stroke

They were both my fathers; he passed away. Getting them running seems expensive. This is what I've been quoted, roughly:

Waterpumps $147/each

Carb kit $225/each. Carb kits are expensive apparently

Stats 40 each (I typed this down but now I'm not sure what that means; I think typo but whatever it is, is $40/each).

Plugs 6.50 each and like 8 total for the two outboards.

Oil, $25/each

All parts total: $900 or so in parts

Labor for each, initially 10 hours total at $90/hour but cut it down to $750 in labor.

I'm not entirely sure on where he's getting parts. This is just for a little putt putt around the canals. I feel like the parts can be cheaper. Am I wrong? Is it even worth it? Will they just cause me problems in the end? There is the sentimental value though.

Just looking for advice. Thank you for your time!
