New in Belgium – is it possible to find work with basic Dutch?

Hi everyone,
I recently moved to the Limburg region in Belgium. My wife is Belgian and we are expecting our baby girl very soon. Right now I’m attending Dutch classes and trying hard to learn the language as fast as possible.
I already have my residence permit, but since my Dutch is still very basic, finding a job has been difficult. I wanted to ask if it’s still possible to find work with limited Dutch and if anyone has advice or suggestions.
I also have a healthcare background from Turkey (First and Emergency Aid / paramedic training), but I understand that language and diploma recognition can take time here.
Any advice, personal experiences, or guidance would really help me and my family. Thank you very much. :)

Searching for relatives from Şuregel / Gyumri

Hello everyone,

I’m researching my family history and hoping to find information about possible relatives who may still be living in Armenia.

My ancestors migrated many years ago from the Şuregel / Gyumri region to Akyaka (historically known as Kızılçakçak / Şuregel). According to family stories, one relative named Ramazan, whose father’s name was Adil, stayed in Armenia and started a family there.

Our family name may have been Şahbazoğlu / Shahbazov. Possible surname variations may also include Adilov or Adilyan due to language changes over time.

I know this is a long shot, but if this story sounds familiar to anyone from Gyumri or nearby regions, I would truly appreciate any information or guidance for further research.

Thank you.
