Hi. I’m completely new to this instrument but do have a musical background with the violin and a bit of piano. I bought an STL ocarina (C major 12 hole) a few weeks ago and noticed that when I compare the notes to my piano’s pitch, they sound out of tune.
Because I’m new to this instrument, I didn’t go with a super expensive option. (90 USD).
The lady that was selling them (at an anime convention) was playing one just like the one I bought and hers sounded beautiful .

Is it just a lack of technique, a problem with the instrument, or are C major ocarinas not tuned to concert pitch the way the violin and piano are?

I was pretty consistent up until late February, but then I just simply fell off and have loads of empty spreads in my Weeks. I feel pretty guilty since these journals weren’t cheap and I’m not sure what I could do to still use them to their full extent even if the dates have passed. I was thinking of just covering up the dates and carry it around as an art/doodle journal of sorts.
If you’ve missed several spreads, what have you done to still use your journal? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Hey, first time attendee here. I was wondering how the last day usually goes. I was originally planning to wear one of my favorite cosplays on Saturday, but there’s a photoshoot that day I want to be part of, which will require me to be another character.
Are there still a good amount of cosplayers around on the last day, or is it much emptier?

Hello! This will be my first time attending mmc and I was wondering from what time to what time the artist alley was open. I don’t get to Atlanta until around 4 PM on Friday and I have to still change into cosplay. Will it be over by then?
