Work permit expired on 20th May 2026, I applied for Bridging Open Work Permit on 1st May 2026 (before WP expiry) and the application is still under process or pending. My PR application got rejected on 4th June 2026. Am I eligible to work or have I lost my implied status. Also if I am planning to leave the country how long do I have before leaving the country.

Already consulted RCIC immigration lawyers but get different answers some say I can work until my BOWP is officially rejected some say I cannot work as PR application is tied to that BOWP.

Please guide me with the updated information and consequences. Thank you.
