Nausea tricks?

Im currently taking Zofran which helps but backs me up for days. Are there any other medications that are effective that don’t make you drowsy either but have the same level of effectiveness?

How do I differentiate whether symptoms of chronic nausea, stomach pain hours after eating, loss of appetite, bile reflux, etc is from gastroparesis or from my gallbladder which is under functioning (26% ef)?

Gallbladder Removal Contemplation

Hi! I’m 18F and I recently got a HIDA scan done which showed 26% ejection rate and bile reflux both before and after the CCK was injected. I got the HIDA scan after months of nausea after eating and upper middle abdominal pain. I felt nauseous after they injected the CCK. The nausea lasts the entire day after I eat, sometimes even through the night which keeps me awake. I also have a feeling of someone squeezing my stomach whenever I lay down hours after I eat. I am starting college next week so getting my gallbladder out would have to wait until winter break. However, I’ve seen online that gallbladder removal can make bile reflux worse and I’m scared that my symptoms will get worse even with my gallbladder out. Has anyone else had the same experience and if so, did removing your gallbladder help? Also, what medications/diets helped? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
