New Popeyes Shift Manager — Any perks or things I should know?

I recently got hired as a Shift Manager at Popeyes in Mississauga, Ontario.

For current/former Popeyes managers:

  • Are there any manager perks/benefits I should know about?
  • Any discounts, bonuses, vacation benefits, etc.?
  • What are the main things I should watch out for to protect myself legally/workplace-safety-wise?

Would really appreciate any tips from experienced managers in Canada/Ontario!

I am at A2-B1 level, looking for any French tutor in Brampton/Mississauga? Preferably physical.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently at the A2–B1 level in French, and I feel like I've hit a wall. For the past couple of weeks, I haven't felt like I'm making much progress, even though I've been studying consistently.

I'm thinking it might be time to work with a tutor who can guide me.
Can anyone recommend a reliable French tutor or share what worked for you at this stage?

preferably physical class would suit me good \

Thanks in advance!

I started investing in gold when it was going up and then just held it steadily.

After joining this community, I’ve become more interested in ETFs like VFV and XEQT.

Lately, I’ve seen a lot of people saying things like:

  • Max out your TFSA, RRSP, and FHSA first
  • Then invest in a non-registered account
  • It’s fine to buy/sell frequently inside Wealthsimple
  • But don’t switch money between bank accounts because of IRS issues

I’m a bit confused about what all of this actually means.

Why is it okay to trade inside registered accounts, but moving money between accounts is a problem?
