Anyone receive their Convoy T9 yet?

Howdy folks - has anyone received their Convoy T9 yet? I've been waiting for a review to see if its worth purchasing. I love the T4 form factor (with 519A 3000k) for night walks - and the T8 for a pocket sized thrower. I'm hoping the T9 is good hybrid of both worlds. I'd love to get one in camouflage blue ☺️

Please let me know if anyone has received their T9 - and if there are any video reviews available to see. (I tried looking, but only see the first two posts on Reddit from the launch day)

Thanks!

New Noctigon KR3 18350 is tiny!

Hi folks - just got the new Noctigon KR3 delivered and immediately put on the 18350 short tube.

I’m blown away by how tiny this thing is - especially when compared to the KR1 with 18350 tube and the KR1AA!
This thing is the size of my pointer finger - and similar size to the Olight S1R Baton RCR123

It disappears in my hand when I grip the light in a hammer grip. This might end up being a bad thing because the KR3 seems to get hot really really fast on high.

See the pictures for size comparisons with a Convoy S2+ 18650, Convoy S6 18650, OLIGHT S1R Baton RCR123, Noctigon KR3 18350, Noctigon KR1A 18350, Convoy S6 18350, Noctigon KR1A

Another unfortunate design thing is that the stock clip is slightly too long for the 18350 tube. It juts out by a 1/2 inch or so. Not a deal breaker but still.

As I type this up, I think I’ll put back the stock 18650 tube so I have more finger clearance when the head gets hot from High/Turbo mode 😄

Help: Noctigon KR1AA refuses to turn on again

Hi folks - my Noctigon KR1AA randomly decided to stop working. When I put in the battery, the light does not flash with the battery check.
Things I’ve tried
- fresh battery
- take the inner tube and clean both sides with a alcohol prep pad
- reseat the inner tube (screw the tails witch on, then back the tube out by a smidge)
- screw down the head and tail switch as hard as I can barehanded
- screw down the head and tail switch as hard as I can while wearing gloves
- screw down the head and tail switch as hard as I can with pipe wrench pliers (the flat kind with no teeth. I’m not a barbarian!)
(Update) - removed the o-ring from the inner tube and put everything back together. Still not working!

What’s going on here? What else should I try?
The light was working great up until a day ago before I went to charge the battery

Note: I noticed the other day that the head could be unscrewed - which is surprising since I thought the V2 KR1AA’s all had a glued head.

Conclusion: I love the slim body of the KR1AA but I am not a fan at all of this dual body tube thing. I have 10+ Convoy’s and they never have problems turning on!
