High crankcase vacum and tail light assembly
Recently installed 034 upgraded pcv hoses and a new pcv valve on my 2019 sq5 with 80,000 miles. Brought it in the next day for some other services, and the only issues they found were high crankcase vacum and standing oil in the pcv hoses.
They suggested I double check i installed the check valves in the correct direction. I did and also verified they were working properly. And I didnt really find oil in the hoses, but I did use oil to lube the connections and it was a bit sloppy. So im guessing that is the oil they noted.
Should I be worried about the high crankcase vacum? Is there something else to check?
I also have a warning light for the rear tail light. They said they have to replace the whole assembly. Im assuming this is correct? Is this simple enough to do myself? Any suggestions on sourcing the new light assembly?
