Hey everyone,

I’ll be getting my full A license this summer, and I’m looking to buy my first proper bike.

Experience so far: some scooter riding in the city, and occasionally rode a DRZ 400 off-road. Overall I’d still consider myself a beginner.

I’m mainly into naked and/or touring bikes, I like the more upright and comfortable riding position. It would be mostly for street use, with some longer trips here and there.

Budget is around €3.5–4k. I don’t want anything too fancy or expensive for a first bike—something forgiving and beginner-friendly would be ideal.

I’d prefer something with ABS, but I’m also open to opinions on whether it’s really necessary for a beginner. If you have good recommendations even without ABS, feel free to share.
