My new book, Neurofeedback: Explained, is out August 11.

Neurofeedback is simple to describe and easy to misunderstand.

Madeleine McCann and I wrote Neurofeedback: Explained to separate four things that often get blurred together: the measured signal, the feedback, the training target, and the outcome someone hopes for.

The book covers how neurofeedback works, what the evidence does and doesn’t support, how to think about QEEG without treating it as a diagnosis, how to evaluate a provider, and what to do when training isn’t helping.

It’s published by Peak Brain Press and is available August 11.

Full disclosure: I’m one of the authors, so this is self-promotion. I’m sharing it because these are questions I see people wrestling with every day. I’m happy to answer questions about what we included, what we left out, or where I think the evidence is strongest and weakest.
