I didn’t learn from my mistake
i f* cked up big time.
I applied for this job back in April. It was a really long waiting period, but it was cool because it’s my first job and I don’t have bills to pay yet. I was finally supposed to start a three day job training on Wednesday, July 1st.
Unfortunately, I couldn't make it on Wednesday because I had a community college appointment and I told him a day before that i wouldn't come back in time. To make matters worse, I couldn't even get that appointment done because I lost my wallet and they required my ID.
Today is Thursday. I left the house extra early to make sure I wasn't late for training. I was actually the first person there and was just chilling until it was time to start. Then, my trainer asked if I had my badge and my ID on me. I had the badge, but I realized I left my ID in mycar that was parked some where far. Because of that, he told me I couldn't go with the group.
I asked him if I could come back tomorrow, but he told me he was off on Friday. it’s confusing because i remember him mentioning one time that he has Saturday and Sunday off. He said he would give me a call sometime next week, . I had to do the walk of shame all the way back to my car. Now people are telling me that I’m probably about to get dropped. Should I wait for his call, or should I just start applying for another job?
