i’m currently in my first term of cosmetology school, and i’m not enjoying it. my instructor is truly terrible, and makes every day of school feel like a humiliation ritual. even more importantly, i don’t really care about hair, but 90% of my school’s cos curriculum is hair-related. i don’t have a solid plan laid out for myself once i get my license, but i do have a passion for esthetics, nails, and sales/customer service. i’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it to grind out the year of school and be unhappy or if i could enter the beauty industry another way and still be successful? i’m really confused and stressed, so any and all advice is welcome.
