Becoming a cop in Canada

I want to become a cop like my dad. Some background: I’m 19, female, and indigenous (well half, lol). I grew up an athlete, and I am an international champion in track and field. I took two years of kinesiology in university but realized I didn’t want a job within that field. Where would I go from here? I feel a bit in the dark atm, and my dad isn’t too please with me rn that I “dropped out”. Do I need a diploma first? I might be wrong, but I don’t think you can just go to police college with nothing under your belt. I don’t really know what direction to put my foot in. Anything is great.:)

Ablation recovery tips!

I’ve been on the waitlist for my ablation since February of 2025, and I finally have a procedure date for June 5th! I’ve never had any type of surgery before; just wondering some tips for recovery! I’m 19 and I work an office job for the summer.:)

PLSC w/ Krista W.

Has anyone gotten mercy passed? Unfortunately I’ve been dealing with medical issues and had a tough battle with the final, resulting in my final grade being a 49. (Before you start commenting; yes I know it was required to pass the final to pass the class.) I emailed her last week but she was on medical leave and now she said that she’ll respond by next Tuesday. My problem: if I fail this class, I can’t continue with university. I have to know by this Friday if she’ll pass me or not. Do I send an email saying (more professionally) hey sorry for emailing twice but my situation is time sensitive? I just need some opinions bc I’m kinda in the dark rn.
