I’m not quite sure how this is not immediately stopped, but tonight there was 2 locker locks that were cut in the education building men’s change room for the pool. 3 phones, 3 wallets, and 2 car keys were all stolen. One car was stolen. like, this is not gta 6 people. This is a university campus. There has been numerous complaints of locker theft in Education especially on Sunday nights as rec sports are going on. If it’s a big issue why is there not a peace officer on watch?? Does it take a guys car to get stolen for campus security to realize there’s a problem here??

I feel like burnout is not even the right term anymore, im completely depleted, physically, mentally. And emotionally, I feel like ever day gets harder to go through and nothing ever gets better, I'm just lost.

I moved to Canada 4 years ago to study, and even taking the good with the bad, it has kicked my ass all this time, with the obstacles that come with being international, and papers, visas, tuition, permits, I can't find a job no matter how hard I try and I feel like im running out of options, I've tried with student wellness and counseling but ai still feel like im falling into a dangerous nihilism of "nothing really matters just sit down and die".

After all that I just wanted to know if there's anyone else out there that feels the same, and how are you getting through it? How do you deal with burnout?

Okay so. I am a student here, redoing first year. And currently money is not the best situation. So I was wondering, is there any good workplaces on campus that any of you know of that I can apply to and hopefully have an excuse to stay on campus for longer while earning something for myself.. Just tossing this out there coz I want some help finding such places if anyone would like to share their experience working on campus

So in my abnormal psychology class this PhD candidate is teaching this year but half the time he's not fully prepared with what he's going to say but what bothers me most is that he intentionally tries to teach half true and out of context stuff with a smirk on his face. After a couple of lectures of bearing him enjoying his own little echo-chamber of incompetence I was glad when some student finally pointed out to him how he was only presenting a real small side of the issue and then someone else also said that he didn't provide the whole context while criticizing this test and he agreed to that! So he either purposefully didn't provide that context, was incompetent enough to actually have gone through the actual widely used test he was so cocky about criticizing or was blinded by his own biases. I will be dropping out this class mainly because he's so up his own a$$ about being a PhD candidate that he openly wants to teach his unverified biases and criticize whatever he wants without any evidence. Also when someone says anything doesn’t align with his very very liberal and "everything's a spectrum" view of Psychology he just says "We'll talk about it later" or "Well that doesn't cover everything " but if someone agrees with it he is very much okay with talking about it in class. I was just ranting and I honestly hope other people also see the problem. P.s. Atleast if he squeezed through to be a PhD candidate I know I can do something with my life!

I need some tips on what I should be studying for my COMM203 midterm. I am with Armarjit and although he’s a nice guy I am struggling to really mostly any of the content. Basically what I’m asking is what should I put on the one sided cheat sheet that’ll likely be beneficial.

am i going bananas or was that midterm the easiest exam ever

It is coming up but i am not sure on how to study for it. Should i just study from the end of each lab where there are questions for us to answer or what. im lost

Does anyone know the structure for the midterm Tmr? Or if she said anything important I missed
