Have a itty bitty 9 gallon wildlife pond with plants and rocks. Just added a terracotta pot for a potential toad (we get toads every year but I haven't seen one yet). Any advice would be appreciated. Need to add more plants around the pond!

I know I'll need to close the holes, flex seal or just liner over it, but has anyone done this? It's 41ish"wide and 29" deep.

9 gallon small wildlife watering station for birds, frogs, snakes, possums, racoons, insects, etc. I've only added a rock wildlife exit and hornwort (floating plant). I've since added plants around the pond but what else should I add to it?
