My small mind can’t bridge the cognitive dissonance between the yellow product branding and the red icon. Could we get a Combustion Yellow icon as an option someday :)

I've got Enphase Inverters/Gateway and IQ 2 Charger, with a third party battery. For the most part, Green Charging won't turn on the EVSE until the battery is topped off and net export is defected by the consumption CTs. However at the end of day, the EVSE will drop down to minimum 1.4kW / 6A and stay there, even when production has fallen below.

Support confirmed this is an issue with third party batteries, since the algorithm seems to only use the consumption CT import/export and not use the production data (which the system has access to since its Enphase). Seems like a simple logic rule of "turn off Green Charging when production is below 1.4kW" would be crude yet effective backstop to implement.

Wondering if anyone else has hit this issue, and have you found any work arounds? Perhaps using home automation implement a charger shutoff based on time of day or access to production data?
