Going back to my old job at 32
After almost 10 months unemployed (sometimes i do some gigs here and there) i couldnt land any stable role, 3 days ago, an old friend from my previous job (ma3ml l cable) called me and asked if i want to comeback, management has changed a bit and its actually a better place since i left it.. i said yes almost instantly and started on getting the documents ready untill it hit me, the long commute, its almost 60km away, theres a bus to take me from and to the factory, 1 week i have to wake up 3am, next week i leave at 12pm till 00:00.. im wondering how i was able to fo it for 3 years ?… some of my old colleaugues got promoted just because they kept working there.. nd i quit due to family reasons in the end of 2023, but i dont know how to feel abt that..
nd yes i tried everywhere i could, got rejection emails, did interviews, handed my cv door to door, trying to break the cycle of bieng a factory worker, but my family grew impatient, and i need some money so i can pay some due visits to the doctors, buy shit i need and actually have some cash without being gaslighted everytime i ask for money even for a doctors appointment..
