Metatarsalgia advice needed

So Ive been dealing with what Im assuming is metatarsalgia. Pain will randomly start up in the ball of my left foot, mostly under the second toe but it varies a bit cause it’s coming and going, but it’s extreme and has me limping when it does happen. I dealt with this once before when I was a bit younger, but it made sense then. I was serving part time and working full time in healthcare and I work out on a regular basis so I was on my feet all the time! Now I work a desk job, still go to the gym and I walk our dogs most days for about 45 mins. Last time I had a forced break cause of covid and I got some good shoes and insoles on board (Hokas) and it got better. This time around I still wear hokas with custom insoles when I’m walking the dogs and any other activities where extended walking is necessary. But I’m barely on my feet these days! Nothing compared to when it happened before, I work hybrid from home and even the 2 days a week I’m in office I wear a dr schols van type looking shoe. It pops up and goes away so randomly. So what do I do to help this? Any suggestions for treatment other than ice and good shoes? Any suggestions on a different sneaker maybe?

Help me solve a toilet related mystery!

So we bought our house 5 years ago (first home). One random day I’m getting ready in the morning and do all the bathroom things, go downstairs and it’s raining out our kitchen potlights. Call a plumber they say it’s the toilet seal in our ensuite bathroom (right above). Says it’s the seal, replaces it and the flange is busted and replaced as well. Fixed … for a while. Happens again a few months later, now we know what to do (my husband is in another blue collar trade so we just do it). Rinse and repeat 2-3 more times. In those times we think maybe there’s some massive clog in the pipes from the previous owner cause it’s clogging for no reason out of nowhere. So this is only happening when it clogs (again always for no reason). We run a super long auger down there, nothing. All these times the toilet seal seems to be holding (toilet not rocking etc. but the tile under the toilet is a LITTLE BIT uneven, but we’ve used multiple extra thick seals and shimmed the toilet into place etc. it happens again and we have a plumber from his work come out and look, he pulls out a pot light and can see the seal and everything underneath says it looks good and doesn’t know why it’s doing that and can’t do anything else without ripping apart the ceiling. We then run green gobbler main line opener in there and leave it for a couple days. One day again in the morning no one’s in the bathroom we hear a giant WHOOSH. so we assume there was something in there and it got washed away now. No issues for about a year, until a week ago it happens AGAIN. So we’ve stopped using that toilet for now. We have another bathroom essentially back to back on the ensuite that is just down the hall. My husband is getting ready in there a few mornings ago, flushes goes downstairs and eventually a small amount of water comes through the lights downstairs just before he’s about to leave (that toilet seal was also replaced by us within the last 2 years, cause that toilet was rocking a bit then).
So my question, could this all be because the tile under one toilet is mildly off, or now we’re maybe thinking there’s potentially a pipe that’s not sealed? Anyone have other thoughts/suggestion?
Thanks for listening to my ted talk lol!

So we bought our first home back in 2021 at 1.99% for 5 years, so we locked into that bad boy. But now we’re up for renewal, we’re trying to decide between a 3 year at 4.04 or a 5 year at 4.14. We don’t plan on moving anytime soon - this is likely our forever home. So thoughts? What would you do?
