The correct map of the Caucasus?

Hello! I am writing an article and need to use a map of the Caucasus region, but I am unsure whether Adygea and some other territories should be included or not. Please help me choose the appropriate map!🙏 Thanks in advance!

What ethnicity do they look like?

This is my grandpa & great grandma :)

The thing is, my dad's family history is very confusing so we aren't 100% sure where everyone's from so I'd like to know other people's opinions on what ethnicity they look like!

reading culture & book publishing in Armenia

Hi! I have some questions about book culture in Armenia. So if there are any book lovers in this community, I'd appreciate a reply!

Now, I've never actually been to Armenia before (yet!!), so I'm really curious: what bookstores are like over there in general? Is there a big publishing industry with books getting translated into Armenian, or are, like in Kazakhstan, for example, books mostly sold in russian? Are there any popular contemporary Armenian writers? And what about classical literature, especially those authors oppressed by the soviets, are they getting published? Also, are there a lot of people reading, like in parks, cafés, etc.?

Another thing, I would really appreciate some thoughts: do you, as an Armenian, care about Armenian literature? Do you think other Armenians should care about it more than they do now? Would you like/Do you think it's important for Armenian reading culture to change in any way?

Also, if someone here attended Armenian school, what books did you guys read? And of course, if you have any recommendations by Armenian authors, feel free to share!!

P.S. Sorry if those are weird questions but as a bookworm, I'm very much interested😆

Confused about Kuban?

Hello! I'm curious about the North Caucasian territories. And I recently learnt that, apparently, Kuban is geographically a part of it? But then my next question was: Are the people of Kuban (Kubanians?) Caucasian? Google does not provide a clear answer in English, and when I search in my native Ukrainian language, it states that they are ethnically Ukrainian. The only other thing I know about the people is that in 1918 they tried to join the Ukrainian People's Republic but failed. And this leaves me extremely confused.

Who are the people of Kuban? And if Ukrainians do (did?) make up a significant portion of the population, who lived there before they arrived? And most importantly, who lives there now and what is generally happening on that land today?? Sorry in advance if my questions are silly!

Offering: Ukrainian (Native), English (Advanced) | Seeking: French, Korean

hi :) im 18F, looking for a partner to practice French and/or Korean with. it'd be nice if you were a native but even if you're just an advanced speaker, it's fine!

a little bit about me: persian-armenian, born and raised in the east of Ukraine (so i might not be the best one to ask about all the nuances of Ukrainian culture but i am a native speaker!).

im a 1st year international relations student, interested in history, (geo)politics (esp. west asian and african), human and animal rights, veganism (im vegan), environmental science, reading (books & manga/manhwa). bl and gl fans are also welcomed hehe.

im into krnb/khh/kballads, uk rap, afrobeat, arab pop etc. etc., so i'd love someone with a similar music taste. but also, i used to be a huge kpop fan 4¿ years ago so if you're into that, it's also fine!

i'd love my partner to be around my age (gender doesn't matter, and i'm also trans friendly🏳️‍⚧️🙂‍↕️), easy going and chatty but also a good listener since im looking rather for international friends in a sense than people to *just* practice with.
