I called Verizon because I was trying to figure out transferring my service to my new apt and when my actual service would stop at my old apt due to work from home situations. I didn’t see anything about a package increase when I tried to initiate the move in the app but when I called the representative, they started telling me how my bill would go up, etc.. Does your bill actually go up and you’re subject to new rates when you transfer service? Or is it a gimmick and because I called they’re trying to scam me for a new customer rate? Wondering if anyone else had this experience?
