Extensions falling off
I visited a salon that was well rated online, and did lash extensions as well as nails, brows, semi-perm makeup and fillers.
I saw they had availability online so went as a walk in and they were happy for me to get them done- £55 full set. The girl doing them seemed slightly inexperienced- had drying acrylic on her nails that smelt bad while doing my set. It took her ages to set up and position stickers around my eyes and didn't understand what I meant by hybrid and insisted I they were spiky lashes that I wanted.
The service itself last around 35 mins max and was fine apart from occasional nipping of my eyes and felt like she plucked out my inner corner lashes. However, when she showed me they looked pretty decent and I booked in for 2 week infill.
This was on the Friday afternoon, she advised not to get wet for 24 hours and I didn't until the Sunday.
On Monday morning, my second end lash seemed clumped and twisted as if it was too heavy for the lash supporting it and it was leaning into and irritating my eye. i brushed it with a spoolie hoping it would help but it didn't. It continued the same for the rest of the day and Tuesday.
On Wednesday morning I woke up and while brushing my teeth two clusters of lashes fell off my left eye and another was half out. Wednesday evening another 3 fell out the right eye.
On the Wednesday evening i went to the salon and asked if i could get lashes repaired as i wasn't happy i had gaps after a few days, and didn't want gaps for another week and a half. The owner advised the lash tech was on holiday and wouldn't be back until the day before my fill and she's moved my appointment to then. I said if this keeps happening by then I'll have no lashes and it's a long while to go around like this. She said the gaps don't look bad and i should brush the other lashes to fan them out. Laughable.
I will attach images of the day of and then now. I am so upset I have spent £55 on them and another £14.50 deposit on infill appointment. She said I won't have to pay the other £14.50 on the day due to the gaps but really I don't want to go back and want another salon to take them off and give me a better fresh set. I'm so upset, and feel so self conscious. I'm also irate at the money spent £70 on this disaster, and mother £75 booking in somewhere for a removal and new set before my holiday abroad.
Any advice, I'd really like at least the refund of the deposit.
