The bottom of my shower niche looks pretty bad. Water keeps pooling so no matter how much I cleaned, it kept looking worse. Whoever did the instal did not include an adequate slope for the water to drain. I know I’ll probably need to retile at least the bottom but I have no idea how. Do we just remove the tile and apply new tile? Do I need to do any additional waterproofing? All of the videos I’ve watched have covered installing new shower niches, not repairing existing ones.
