Anyone know more about this?

Walked by this sign yesterday and was kind of excited? A sport bar is coming to downtown to Vallejo?! Does anyone know more?

Beautification Commission clean up

A little Before and After clip of some of the Beautification Commissions effort to clean up the down town parking lot in front of provisions.

I’m itching to get down there and finish the job!

I wanted to thank our small but mighty group of volunteers that attended. I am continuously impressed by the efforts and dedication of all kinds of organizations and individuals who volunteer their time to take care of our city. It’s truly inspiring.

Trunk space sucks- solutions?

I like the car but after having it for a few months, there’s a few things I wish were different.

Mostly the trunk. It’s stupid tiny and barely holds 2 bags of grocery’s. Fine. But then when I put the back seats down for more storage, items just fly around and spill onto the ground into the second row.

Is there anything you do to block the gap between the middle row and back row?

I’m honestly considering taking the loss and getting a new car because it drives me so crazy.

I have to be honest, I still am not 100% on board with my 7yr olds diagnosis.

I filled out a survey, the teacher filled out a survey, doctor saw her for 5 minutes. Boom, it’s adhd. I also feel like every kid has moments like hers and act very similarly but also, maybe not..

Also- Kaiser SUCKS for kids with this diagnosis. That’s a different post though..

Anyways, I saw a Facebook post saying “which spoon is acceptable”. Which had my thinking about my daughter. She is really particular about which spoon she uses for food. She doesn’t like the bumpy ones we have only the smooth ones. I googled this and being particular about food was mentioned, which she is incredibly picky and eats about 8 different things.

The google search mentioned pretzels being one of those food. My daughter LOVES pretzels.

I know I should really on google to confirm a doctors diagnosis. But it’s interesting to have it reinforced..

My question isn’t about any of that though.

It’s- how do you encourage your child to eat more food? Or different foods? It would make life easier if she at some more things that weren’t just sugar and chocolate.
