So I got a problem with duplicate files (and really duplicated ones).

I put some content I had store don an old med8ter player and some external HDDs on my NAS.

Problem is I did not use something like filebot so I have some episodes double. They are shown in the series or seasons as normal files and can also be played (so not a wrong entry).

Now I want to find a way to look for those duplicates. Either via a report of duplicates files to manually search on my NAS and remove them or via Jellyfin itself after comparing the files.

Any way to do this?

So, I don‘t know why but no matter which automatic blade I try it will not retract in the beginning. It does press down the blade on this slot before changing to the position where it sets the blade depth. But as it did not retract in the first step I get a depth of 6 instead of 3 because it just adds it. Manually I can retract the blade to the position zero.

What baffles me is that this seems to be the only error as it cuts in the position it should be (was first thinking that maybe it is misaligned left or right). Also it is in the middle position of this slot for retracting.

Oh and I checked for maybe some waste or something in this slot but there is nothing.

So I want to find again a Manga I read max 3 years ago, but only the first chapters. As a hindrance it is a fairly often troupe but mayeb someone remembers this particular execution of the scene.

It is a banishment story in a medieval setting, aristocratic house. I can not recall if it is an Isekai story. MC gets banished for being incompetent (and to make matters worse I am not sure if it is because he lacks magic or because he is not the child of a mistress).

But a certain scene always comes to mind. his (ex) Fiancee comes into the house, visible happy to see him just to hear he is not there anymore. And why I recall this is how she reacted. Not only with disbelieve but she clearly gets a cold look (especially as the father had the audacity to say his other son is now the fiancee) and she disolves the engagement herself. Furthermore telling the father that he doomed his own house in banishing his son. As for the girl itself. Long hair, seems blonde (or white, hard to tell in.a Manga). More in the teenage bracket. I can not really remember if she is either a princess or from some influential house like a Dukes.

As said it is a fairly common story but I always get flashbacks to how she reacted. It is not "The Amazing Village creator" because she reacts differently. Also not "undesirable translation talent". Also not "The banished former Hero lives as he pleases" (The ex fianceee never met the father before reconnecting with the MC).

So, I just got an email for the automatic renewal.

But the first question.. Why did it change from a 2 year plan to an annual one and why does it cost 165€ (including taxes)?

This sounds like the basic plan for a year but if I manually choose it on the website as a new plan I only need to pay 65€. I know things get inflated after years but 2 years ago 99€ for a 2 year plan and now 165 for one year sounds a little strange. And to underline it...especially as I get other prices just for manually choosing my plan. Heck the basic for 1 year is 100€ less as the one I would get now.

So, I am a little stumped about what I am doing wrong or if I am overlooking something. I am talking about drag and dropping a file into another location. To be more exact from ym Mac ot a NAS. Not about cutting and inserting a file.

Normally I hold the file, see the green plus for copying it. So if I press the "Command" key it normally shoudl switch to moving a file. But the green + is not going away. Also tried the "options" key and "control". Some times it needs a little time to remove the + but if I take my hands from the mouse it still copies it and does not move it. Furthermore it needs some time to register that I want to mvoie it and so it opens the folder I have the mouse key hovering over.

Neve rhad this much problems with Forklift or the Vanilla Finder.

So just wanted to ask for an App I thought I saw here.

It was one you can use to mute music, etc when you close the lid of a macbook slightly. Thought I saw it here but did not find the post about it. Was it removed or am I misremembering the subreddit? Don't find it in the thread of the banned/warned users/apps. I think it had something like tild or tilt in the name but the search doesn't help me.

And if it was removed then I atleast know that I don't need to search for it or install it.

So, I am not sure about this. I see in the settings that I can also store the metadata in the book folders. But is this in aoption I would activate on every Library or does it so globally?

I am asking as I have 2 libraries in ABS. One with ebooks and one with Audiobooks. Now I usually get my metadata for the ebooks with Calibre. Whereas I use ABS for the audiobooks. Now I am just curious if I activate this it will also store the metadata in the ebooks folder or only in the audiobooks folder if I activated this option. I assume it will change it for both and fear this could give me problems in Calibre if it checks the folders again.

Anyone who uses both did this?

And why I even ask. Even though I have the metadate stores on my NAS (where also my files are) on a dataset (or folder, depends how you see it) but I fear what happens if the database gets corrupted and I don'T have it also store in the folders. I know kinda redundant but I have seen too much to not use the 3-2-1 System for backups. And as I regularly make backups of the files it would be nice to have the metadate with them.
