Do you feel like Juno’s can be toxic?

I feel like everytime I go against a Juno, they are mean as hell. This was their JUNO saying this about me. In QP.. like are we fr?? Are we really ego maxxing in qp now. I feel like my comp matches are nicer than this😭😭 I had also got shit on earlier for learning ash and going 14-3. Why are people so mean it genuinely makes this game SO unfun

How did you train your puppy at night?

Today i officially have added the second Bernese pup to my family!! He has quickly settled, my first boy has fallen in deep love, all sunshine and rainbows yay yay. Except… this dude hasn’t slept a wink since he got home. After he finally started to crash, I brought him to my bed and he just could not get back to sleep. He would lay down for a minute, start whining, get up, repeat. So after watching him do this for a little, doing bedtime routine (eat, poop, playing a bit) he is STILL doing this. I finally put him in the bathroom and he immediately conked out. This is not what I did with my first Bernese and he definitely did not have this much trouble on night one, which is why it took me a little longer to find a solution, but I was thinking maybe crate training might be the move with this guy? What is everyone’s experience with this? My first has never really been crate trained very thoroughly, so I am wondering what approach to take on this. I live in a hotter area so it is not much of a surprise he would prefer to sleep on a nice cold floor, even my first Bernese was this way after maybe a week of sleeping in the bed, but I no longer have hardwood floors so I had to actively remove him from my bedroom which just felt a bit weird (but ofc not unheard of). I’m just rambling a bit but any help in this would be great!

Tips and tricks for best socializing your new pup?

I am getting my second bern in 10 days!(yay) and one thing I absolutely struggled with and frankly still do was socializing my first. I always took him to pet friendly stores as a pup, so he is very good on a leash and if I’m in a place such as Marshall’s or smth like that, I am often asked if he is working. But if we walk into a store like petco..? oh lord. Frankly he is much better now, but if he sees another dog he absolutely still gets a bit riled up and wants to play. And as we all know.. Bern excited = BARKING (and humiliation). I have to accommodate him FIRST if we are going out on the town by a visit to the dog park, dog beach etc just so he isn’t on tweaker mode the whole day! And even then, if he sees another dog he will start pulling and maybe even give an excited bark. I think he has come a long way, but this is something I would like to avoid with my new baby. What are some good methods you used to socialize your baby? I was thinking that maybe I could do some training at the dog park just to help with his focus even with other dogs around. I feel like I’ve tried every trick in the book, but I know I started too late with my first so it made it so much harder. I’d love to hear all y’alls methods lol.

Getting a second Bernese

Ok, I made a post a while back and said I was adding a little weenie to the family. Well, I was talking it over with my boyfriend who basically told me he’d just be happier if we got another Bernese. Music to my ears, email sent to my Junie’s breeder immediately. ANNDD he had a litter born April 26th. Truly a miracle, already have my little boy picked out 🥺. Now.. this feels like an ever bigger problem. My June is my heart and my soul, and I am going to be the primary caregiver for both boys. This decision of course wasn’t made lightly, we actually ended up rescuing a mama and her baby recently and housed them until the rescue could take them. Junie didn’t eat for three whole meals after they left, he was very sad and seemed to truly enjoy the company. I know this is something he will absolutely cherish and appreciate me for, but how did you all make sure your first born was not jealous or feeling rejected? There is no world where I ignore junie or favor the puppy over him, but is there anything special I can do to make sure? I am planning to separate toys for the time being as well.. I guess I’m absolutely rambling here and basically asking what everyone did when they brought home their second berner??? Thank you!♥️

So my June is two years old, and I think it’s finally time for a second dog. We live in an apartment (with frequent outings) but all the same not looking to get another big dog. We are currently looking at weenie dogs, and I wanted to know if anyone here has a weenie + Bernie combo? How’s life? My boy is ofc not aggressive and even grew up with a little dog (who despised him but the point being he is ok with them.) just want to know how that life style is!

Another concern I have though is.. do you feel guilty as all??!!! Me and my June are two peas in a pod. I cry once a week imagining life without him, I love him more than life.. the thought of having another dog who is primarily mind scares me because I don’t want him to feel abandoned. I know weenies also get pretty clingy too.. idk I feel definitely guilty about it. When my father’s soul dog passed I remember him being so detached from the second dog he had. It suddenly felt so obvious how close they NEVER were because he was just so so attached to the first. To be fair, the second dog was a bit of an independent guy and had never been as big as daddy’s boy as the second but I guess I’m scared I won’t be able to love them equally. Which is silly because I literally have 3 cats that I all love equally. But with my June it is just so different, he is my everything :(. I jsut want a little reassurance I guess ik it isn’t that deep but to me it is 😔
