i got boho braids on wednesday. it’s just becoming sunday and the buildup is stressing me out

at the base ?? or the braids, like at my roots, it’s soooo gunky and generally gross from all the product the lady used on me. as well as the ends, the waves from the (human) loose hair is all stringy and sad.

i know im not supposed to wash them so soon but its genuinely driving me crazy. i never typically use this much product in my hair so im not used to the feeling at all.

what can i do that’ll keep them looking nice but also remove all the stuff from my roots to about 2” down the braids, as well as about 6” of my ends without hurting them? thanks in advance. pic 4 attn and to show how the ends looked wednesday (black shirt) versus how limp n lifeless they are just days later with my cutie curls gone (grey blazer).

oh also if this matters ive mainly had them in a high bun while sleeping, with a silk bonnet as well as silk pillowcase. this is my first time ever having any kind of braids.

what’s a NORMAL home decorating simulator app / site?

i hate chat gpt and will not use it, i am not one of ~those ppl~.

i’m trying to find an app or site where i can play around with furniture and wall colors etc but every one i see is AI. there used to be some when i was a kid that id play with for funsies, before ai even existed in the early 2010’s, but i cant find those anymore. any suggestions are greatly appreciated

beginner needing tips

i’ve had a nikon d3100 and a canon rebel t7 in the past but about two months ago i picked up a nikon n50 for $25 at an antique store. always wanted to get into film photography.

on a planned trip id brought a roll of kodacolor 200 but the roll got ruined somehow on the third shot and i could only find fujifilm 200 at a local target lol. i know it’s not a great film but i believe ive gotten better at focusing and aperture and such, but im still not able to get that crazy blur im aiming for. just picked up some more kodacolor 200 and will be taking it to a local cars and coffee in a few weeks..

i want good results. any tips that can be thrown my way for getting better at film shots? thanks in advance. i enjoy nature photography as well as cars. these are shot on aperture priority mode, f5.6-8. standard nikon nikkor 35-80mm lens.
