how can i help my grandpa who is slowly going blind?

My grandfather's suddenly losing his eyesight due to diabetes. I don't know right now if his eyesight is blurry or if he's seeing darkness, but what i know is that he can't see, distinguish or recognize faces anymore. All he can see are silhouettes but it's still difficult for him especially if it's not in broad daylight.

Any tips on how I can make his daily life easier? Like, what activities can he do with or without me? How can I help him not spiral into hopelessness. I did a little bit of research but I kind of need to know directly from someone who is experiencing the same or has a family member who is. Thank you.

How can I help my grandpa who is going "blind" due to diabetes?

My grandfather, diagnosed with diabetes, is suddenly losing his eyesight. He said it's getting difficult to see and can no longer distinguish faces, just silhouettes. I don't know if he's seeing black or if it's blurry, I have to ask about it more.

To those who have similar experiences with people close to them, what can I do to help make his daily living a bit easier? What activities can he do so he can remain occupied? He really loves watching TV. Any tips can help.

Is a sauna worth the worth floor space in a home gym?

Planning on converting our second garage into a home gym. Recovery has been a hassle lately and I was debating if it would be worth it to put a small 2 person infrared sauna in the space. I always use the sauna at the gym, so I’d like to keep it in my routine, but I'm not sure if it's worth it or not. If not, I was probably going to use the space for an extra machine (likely a peloton), or just more plate storage. Has anyone used an infrared sauna? Are they worth it or a waste of space?

Does compressive activewear actually help with back pain?

I’m 42F and have mild S-curve scoliosis. I’m mobile for the most part and do exercises to help my back, but I’m starting to feel worn down by daily fatigue in my back. Even just sitting in the car causes me pain. I feel like it’s getting hard and harder to get through the day at work without needing to lay down. I’ve tried those tight athletic tops in the past thinking they’d help, but I hated how they felt. Just like they were cutting into my shoulders.

Should I try some other options for posture support? I’ve heard braces aren’t the best idea, so I want something else that will take the edge off.
