How old do you think these are?
Pardon my ignorance. I just inherited a milling machine and lots of tooling. Some of end mills appear very old.

Requestin fuel system layout advice from the braintrust
I'm redoing my fuel system once again and I'm looking for advice on the best routing, along with locations for the regulator and filter. Both the feed and return come up the passenger side firewall, below where i have the fuel filter mocked up in the first photo.
Second photo shows the layout under the carbs, I can't run the line straight accross and out the other side because of the alternator, so the lines either need to come off the carbs going forwards or to the driver side, which is where the smaller in line filter is mocked up now.
Current option 1 is to run both lines towards the driver side and loop back along the firewall, which means the filter and reg will get baked by the header, or i run them through the raintray, which is sealed from the cabin but still i feel is sketchy.
Option 2 is to run the lines forward/towards the passenger side and then back along the rad support/fender, finding homes for the reg and filter along the way.
Preferences? Thoughts? Am I missing another option entirely?
