Who is the most dripped out PD3 heister in your opinion?
They all look very fly, but it's gotta be Hoxton for me. I wish they didn't do...whatever they did to his personality so I could main him without cringing at his lines. Houston is a close second, followed by Wolf and Pearl.
Those two skills should become base game (and why)
Obviously, there are many skills in PD3 that could be better. Those two, however, should not be skills at all, and instead something that's already included at level 0. Kinda like they allow hacking cameras without any skills now.
Right now, both of these skills have the same problem: EVERY build requires them; even if you don't wanna do an armor build, you're practically forced to dump points into the Commando set for Beast of Burden and Scavenger.
Beast of Burden:
Carrying two bags seems like a neat little improvement, and something that should be considered a valuable skill, right? We're used to carrying one bag, so carrying two bags is a significant upgrade that should require spending a considerable amount of points, right?
Wrong. With the ability to carry two bags came bag amount inflation. Almost all heists in PD3 have considerably more bags to carry than PD2. Even FWB, a classic heist from PDTH and PD2, had its bag amount increased from 14 to 21. Heists like Shopping Spree and Delivery Charge are even more egregious, each having 30+ bags to carry with the right favors activated.
What happens when you don't bring Beast of Burden to those heists? Well, you're fucked, basically. Bag hauling is already tiring on the aforementioned heists even with BoB equipped, so have fun spending an even bigger amount of time going back and forth.
The thing is, because of the increased amount of bags, the skill stopped being a perk and instead became a necessity. What's the point of having a two bag skill, if the amount of bags we have to carry also increased at the same time, completely offsetting the perks of running the skill? I don't think I've met a person who doesn't run BoB, like, ever, because you're putting yourself at a significant disadvantage without carrying it, which means you're forced to spend points on a tree that you might not want just to make bag hauling bearable.
Scavenger:
This one is a smaller offender, but still should become base game, in my opinion. Throwables became a much bigger gameplay component in 3 compared to 2, so its only fair that you would always have a tiny chance of regenerating them, especially since they are absolutely crucial on OVK. Plain and simple.
What do you think?
This is one of the most well-researched and well done videos on PAYDAY 3 I've ever seen
A must watch, really
PAYDAY 3 is the 6th most popular category on Twitch right now

PD3 Tailor Pack Idea: Follow The Money Live Action
People have been yearning for some more casual/classic heisting outfits, and this would be the perfect tailor pack to suit those players! (no pun intended)
Of course, more classic suits are needed (crazy how we don't even have a normal black suit in the game right now), but this would be a very welcome addition that looks elegant, fits the game's vibe and has a bit of a heisting flair to it.
Kknowley is very excited about the 99 Boxes rework...
Do you think Concorde was a good antagonist in PAYDAY 3?
This gotta go
I really hope that this is temporary, because this is by far the most lazy, tacky and cheap way to announce that you filled the heat bar 😭
Couldn't they just record a couple of lines for Shade? Or just display something like "ASSAULT REPELLED" on the assault UI? Why does it have to be a chat message?
The New Tutorial is Awesome and Leaves You Wanting More
Where do I even begin, oh my god...
The atmosphere - absolutely fucking nailed and immaculate. I want a nighttime bank heist so bad now. The environment? Absolutely awesome. We NEED more sewer sections in this game. There's so much attention to detail as well (drug bust, subway trains flying by etc) and small easter eggs all around the map, which I won't spoil, but were so welcome. I am really hoping that we can expect more of this in the future heists!
Then the banter between Houston and Shade, which was also so amazing to hear and very cool! This is one of the most talked about details in this tutorial, which is for a good reason. Very nice throwback to PDTH. Moreover, we get to see more of both Shade and Houston's personalities!
And then...ENDING IT ALL ON A STORY TWIST? THAT EXPANDS THE LORE OF THE GAME???? TAKE MY MONEY STARBREEZE
To me, this tutorial shows that SBZ is learning from their game design mistakes and are aiming to do something much grander for future heists. As for the tutorial itself - it's goated and a much better introduction to the game than what we had before. It has you intrigued, it has you hooked, and it teaches you the mechanics naturally. I loved it.
According to Safy, who recently visited the SBZ office, PD2 and PD3 have a comparable playercount
