Kneecap went exit stage left. Doc thinks it's a partial MPFL tear, but I can't afford an MRI to be extra sure.

Doc recommended keeping SLIGHTLY mobile (bending allowed, some light crutch walking) to not atrophy. I'm scared of never healing it lol.

Can I heal I heal an MPFL tear without complete immobilization? Has anyone EVER healed a partial tear w/out immobilization?

I do wanna get back to dancing soon. I have a PT appointment scheduled for one week after dislocation. Too much?
