Another niche mutual aid idea

I believe most of the restaurants in Denver are having a hard time keeping the doors open not because of low quality or even wages. When it comes down to it it's because landlords are greedy as fuck. If I had my way rent would have some non arbitrary cap - sadly I do not.

Something that seems plausible without having to pass legislation is a charity that can buy a couple buildings fitted for restaurants with money raised through fundraisers.

This charity could then choose a restaurant, charge them for an appropriate amount - non arbitrary. The chosen restaurant could lease for 6 months to a year raise capital and find a more permanent spot.

This is clearly not a full formed thought, I was just thinking about this while walking the dogs. Hopefully it gets sometimes mind ticking if it's a good idea.

Best bike routes in Denver

Hey I traded my car for an e bike. I'm very pumped and want to take it out for a ride. I was wondering what are some fun safe routes with nice views. I would like to find a nice place to plop down and write a short story.

Edit: I'm in rino near coors field looking for a fun hour or two

Can we start a gofundme to get anyone and I mean anyone other than James Franco to read slaughterhouse 5?

This is hilariously bad and I can't listen to more than 3 minutes without zoning out to anything other than his voice.

New mutual aid idea

Now that it's completely legal to plug in solar with no permits can someone start a mutual aid that builds generators for families struggling to keep their power on? It's something I've thought about for a while and had no idea it was originally illegal.

Does anyone have a background in solar? Is this a stupid idea?
