On Mother's Day, we had to take our cat Brisket into the ER for a urinary blockage. This is the second time in his short life we've had to do this. Unfortunately, the bill tore a hole in our bank account, and we had no choice but to create a GoFundMe. So I owned a 2005 Honda Ruckus that was stolen in 2011, and I never replaced it. I loved it, and it worked great in a smallish town (South Bend, Indiana). I now live in Evanston, Illinois, which is just a few miles from Chicago. I've been getting the itch to replace my Ruckus, but I'm not sure if it's the right scooter for what I would like to do. I work out in the burbs, so there's no way I can get something to take on the highway, so I'm just looking for something I can joyride on, go to the beach (10-minute drive), and make quick trips to the store. The top speed limit in my area is 45mph. Also, since I would need to register it and all that fun stuff, I'm not looking for something to break the bank. Basically, something in the $2000-$3000 area and used is totally fine.
