Is there a typewriter (not electric ones) that has a maximum of possible functions? Tabs, half step, power space, button for jammed type slugs, lever for striking force of the keys, you name it. I look forward to your opinions.
I saw this lid on other typewriters. I can put the paper underneath but what for?
Does anyone know how to adjust the vibrator of the Robotron Cella S 1001? The uppercase letters are bit fainted at the upper half. I cannot find any adjustment screw or alike. The vibrator is connected with the mechanics via different rods of fixed length. I solved the problem by slightly bending one (already) shaped rod a bit more, but this can not be intended by the constructor, can it?
I need help with a Robotron Cella S1001 from the German Democratic Republic. Actually it is the licensed mechanics of a Japanese Silver-Reed Silverette The paper feed was jammed and it was very difficult to put paper into the machine without damaging the paper. Therefore I decided to carefully opened the carriarge on the right side. I am afraid I made a mistake because the spring for the paper holder fell out and I did not see beforehand where it was mounted. I assume on a rod (see picture). Where and in what position must this spring be installed? Must the little hook of the spring lay on the notch of the paper holder?
Additionally, two other springs inside the carriage, mounted on that rod where not properly adjusted anymore. I oversaw them before I opened the carriage and now I don‘t know their correct position on that rod. Can anyone show me pictures of the correct position of these springs?
