In the crawlspace of my finished attic and found that one side of one dormer window has a leak that has been going on for a very long time.

The window exterior trim is aluminum over the original wood siding. Any ideas where the water could be coming in?

The exterior sill could use a better slope and new caulk but I'm not sure if there are other spots that could be the issue
