First off, I’m sorry for what everyone there has been through the last few days. That looked terrifying 💔

We booked Omiš a while back for next weekend and I’m trying to figure out two things. One, is it actually safe? Are there still active hotspots in the hills, is the air okay, is the D8 from Split open in both directions? And two, is this a good moment for visitors to be around at all, or would people rather have the space while things are being cleaned up?

Anyone there who can give me a realistic picture? It’s hard to tell from the news coverage how much the town itself is affected versus the surrounding hills and villages.
