Planning a beach trip to the Gulf, concerned about bacteria
Flesh-eating bacteria, that is! October on the Gulf Coast is supposed to be prime time for vibrio bacteria, and I'm wondering what I could/should be doing to protect myself. Does it make sense to get some kind of waterproof covering for my bag area? If so, does anyone have any recs? TIA

Seen on Cherokee in the Summerplace/Cherokee Heights area this morning. I followed her for a while trying to get her interest in some treats but she wouldn’t let me get near her. She disappeared behind a house on the Cherokee Heights side of the road.
