Saw the Animeros in SF last night!
I wanted to post this in the Easy Eye sub but that place is deaddddd, so thought I'd show some love to the Animeros here! They're the first Easy Eye Sound group that my girl and I have seen (that isn't the Black Keys or opened for them) and wow... the only thing that sucked was that it had to end. The show was at a small venue in San Francisco called Brick and Mortar Hall, and while the crowd wasn't large, everyone was dancing from start to finish.
We got to speak with Nick, the drummer, who told us about how Dan and his girlfriend heard their SXSW set while passing through, which got the band signed. God bless you and your golden ears, Dan!

Also, huge shout out to the opener, Edgar. He's an Oakland local with an insane cumbia/industrial/techno sound and we look forward to seeing him around.
