Is weld-thru primer or paint a gimmick? What about specialty weldable paints like steel-it that claim to be impregnated with stainless steel?

I’ve got a small issue. My Lines marked for Warranty are changing the markup/pricing on items billed to those lines. Is there a way to configure it where I can exclude certain sources from being billed/impacted by Warranty lines?
