Off road diesel

I drove past a truck stop today & saw they had off road diesel. I know you’re not supposed to fill up your truck with it but would I get in trouble or would something happen if I filled my truck up with it?

Traveling question

A buddy of mine had his interview for his local but class don’t start til August(if he gets called). He wants to travel out of state to tx that has calls with per diem for cw’s but wants to know if it’ll affect his chances of becoming an app at his local? He called me about it but I genuinely don’t know the answer to that since I’m just a groundhand.

Keep my duramax?

I know the answers are probably gonna be a little biased here, but I figured I’d ask anyway. I took a job out of state as a groundman and ended up buying a 2023 Silverado 2500 Duramax along with a camper. After about 7 months of living in the camper, my girlfriend was over it, so we got an apartment instead. I make decent money and can comfortably afford the truck, even with diesel prices going up, but now I’m at the point where I don’t really need a diesel anymore. I’m trying to decide if it makes more sense to downgrade to a smaller gas truck and save/invest more money, or just keep the Duramax since I’d probably take a loss getting rid of it. Truck was 58k out the door. I put 20k down and paid another 10k off within the first year, so I still owe around 28k. From what I can tell it’s worth about 49–51k right now. I could pay it off if I wanted to, but I’ve been trying to stack money to eventually buy land or a house. I’d like to eventually get my dream truck later on in life & keeping the duramax would hold its value better than a gas truck but it also cost more to maintain. Any advice would be appreciated!
