I'm experimenting with the save file format to see if i can build a terrain generator that takes real elevation data and turns it into viable parks.

In-browser RCT3 Terrain Generator

This is an MVP of a in-browser Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 terrain generator. You can generate park terrain from a couple of sources:

  • Procedurally generated
  • From real geo-data
  • From a heightmap image
  • Based on a park you already have

After choosing your source you can enable a few different post-processing steps for turning your raw input into an actually playable map (if you want).

You do not need any of the games files to run this tool.
