Is it acceptable to ask out someone at your workplace?
A bit of context is needed here. She (F22) isn’t my (M26) coworker. I work as a receptionist at a sporting facility and she is a barista at a cafe in this facility. I chat with her during my shift when I’m not busy and the cafe isn’t too busy as well. She is very sweet and very pretty. I want to ask her out to hangout sometime. Is it acceptable to do so considering we technically have the same workplace? I know dating your colleagues is a big no and also frowned upon in an organisation, but she isn’t really my “colleague”. Any thoughts?
