Billing Issue: More expensive location

I had a procedure in March of this year that I had scheduled last summer (they were scheduling that far out.). In January of this year, I received a call from the office that the provider was no longer doing the procedure that day at my selected location, but could do it at another. If I didn’t want to go to that location I would have to reschedule which could take months. So I kept the procedure on the same day but now in a new location. Fast-forward and I just got the bill and it was outrageous. I called my insurance company and they explained to me that the location that I had the procedure was way more expensive than the original location (hospital vs surgery center.). I knew that certain labs for when you got your blood work were more expensive than others, but had no idea about facilities. Do I have any type of recourse for not being told that the change location would increase my cost. It seems unethical, but not surprising. I’m guessing the answer is no, but wanted to see if anyone had a suggestion.
