kanina after internship sakto rush hour nung lumabas ako. usually nagpapasundo ako sa may tropical hut or shakey’s.

while walking sa may tapat ng shakey’s, biglang hinawakan ako ng barker sa braso at pinipilit sumakay sa van. ang dami pang parinig na “mahirap sumakay” pag tumanggi ka. kaya madalas sa shakey’s na ako nagpapasundo kasi nung first time ko sa gas station near tropical hut, mismong traffic enforcer pa yung nangulit. siya pa mismo nag-approach at sinasabi na ang tagal ko nang naghihintay kaya sa habal-habal na lang daw ako sumakay sa kakilala nila.

ang uncomfy kasi parang mga babae lang talaga yung tinatarget pilitin. nakaka-wary tuloy lalo na unfamiliar pa ako sa lugar.

anyone who also experienced this?

first time ko mawalan ng wallet, i might have left it in the Grab car earlier, but I’m not 100% sure. i already reported it through the app, pero expired na yung time window to contact the driver directly.

right now I’m just covering all my bases, emailing the places i went to today, retracing my steps, etc. i'm overthinking if the grab driver will be held liable/suspended since i reported it as missing? i don't want them to be liable for something that isn't 100% sure and waste their time.
