I was delivered a Geely with the wrong VIN number

My previous post outlined the horrendous experience I’ve had with Geely Leichhardt (I am now naming them).

Well today I’ve found out that I was given a vehicle with a VIN number that doesn’t match my contract or tax receipt.

- I dont know if I’ve been driving around uninsured

- my lease is in the other VIN number - no idea what the implication is of this

- am I even registered?

Explains why it’s been weeks and my profile and connectivity never worked.

I’m honestly at the end of it and just want to hand the vehicle back.

Can someone from Geely PLEASE HELP ME

I finally took delivery of a brand new Geely EX5 MY27 3 weeks ago

My experience…… has frankly been the worst experience I have had buying any product…. Ever.

0 proactive contact from the dealership, days with no response to emails or enquiries. Completely unable to get the salesperson on the phone. My car sat at the dealership for weeks and no one bothered to contact me until I escalated through a contact who knew someone there. My lease had already started as the dealer told them the car was delivered! I only found out because I got an email from the lease company!

My car was eventually delivered (with a multitude of sorrys) with no mats (they were ordered weeks before) and the salesperson didn’t even go through the basics of the vehicle with me.

I still have no mats, my deposit refund (it is a lease) still hasn’t been processed and the profile set up on the car (despite asking for it to be done with delivery) is still not done.

I have logged a ticket through the app with no response.

Is there a rep from Geely here who can help me? It’s a nice enough vehicle, but I’ve absolutely lost all enthusiasm for the product due to the sales process and abysmal Geely experience.

I’ve gone from someone who loved the brand to an active detractor. If you’re on the fence about a Geely, honestly save yourself the heartache. It’s been a huge let down at every step.
