Purchased and picked up my car back in May and I am yet to receive my car mats.
Ive contacted the dealer several times over past 6 months and they reply back with the same old story “a shipments coming in next week.. in 2 weeks.. give it another 4-6 weeks”.
Im just baffled that after 6 months the car mats have still not arrived. Has anyone else had this issue? Im contemplating whether to complain to the ACCC about this.
Was travelling at 100 km/h when a stone hit the windshield. I’m pretty sure my old Mazda took similar hits quite a few times …. it got chips twice, but never actually cracked.
This time, though, the windshield immediately developed a crack of around 2 inches.
I’ve seen a few other posts recently about windshields cracking, so thought I’d share. I’ve contacted insurance and they’re yet to assess the damage.
One thing I’d recommend: make sure windshield replacement is included in your insurance policy, as the excess can be pretty painful otherwise.
Also, I’ve seen some discussion about uneven pressure on the windshield potentially contributing to cracking, but this is completely unconfirmed.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?
Edit - Glass replacement company said there needs to be recalibration to some devices, maybe the HUD!! They’ll contact with the dealer.
I know the dreaded topic of the small cup holders in the EX5 has come up a few times in this community but I'm not sure I've ever seen an answer that wasn't "just use an extender"...
So, I'm curious: has anyone found a bottle that fits in the cup holders without the aid of an extender? If so, please share in the comments. Feel free to share bottles you've tried that didn't fit.
My tips on water bottles that don't fit: Owala Freesip Sway (also won't fit in the door), older Avanti double wall bottles (will fit in door but rattles terribly).

Coming from a 2004 R50 MINI Cooper is certainly the reason that’ll be keeping me excited to drive him everyday.
Car was dirty as, went to wash, unsure if i am able to flip the front windscreen wiper up, just wasged around them... Weird...
