Carnival of Sins Opinion
I’m starting this with saying that I love Motley Crue in every way. I grew up listening to them with my dad, and my first ever concert was them opening up for Kiss in 2012.
I wish I was able to go to the original carnival of sins because comparatively speaking it looked so much cooler with all of the fan interactions.
I went to see last nights show and I honestly felt so bad for Vince because he was really busting his ass to give a performance and I knew he was struggling. Nikki and Tommy killed it as usual, and I know Vince would have all things considered. The guitarist did great so I won’t talk about him although I do miss Mick.
Great song list, sub par creative design, and just simply a performance strictly for the songs.
Nonetheless it was great to see them as always and I know it’s probably the last tour we will truly have unless they choose to continue without Vince, and even then it won’t be the same. Shit, it’s not even the same now without Mick.
I think I’m depressed from the thought that we only truly have a decade or so left to enjoy music/shows like this to the caliber that Motley Crue and the likes of them brought to everyone.
If you have the opportunity to go and see their show; just enjoy it for what it is and try to soak up as much as you can.
Life moves really fast and I’m sure the people who were around from the beginning of the 80’s glam rock see what I am trying to say.
