As a person who walks up India at night I always get spooked when I get to the upper part (beyond Amatos towards congress). It’s so nice and bright towards commercial street but then BAM it’s dark AF as you walk up towards congress!!
Anyone know what’s up with the emergency vehicles on the over passes from Brunswick ish to Portland ish? Thought it was to do with flag day but maybe there’s a funeral?
Edit: it was a procession, I saw the hearse and other emergency vehicles. Still not sure who it was for through
Hello my fellow complainers. This is going to be a controversial complaint but I’m hoping I’m in a safe place to do so. Here I go: The Hearts of Pine Soccer Club bugs the shit out of me.
Their disingenuous attempt at being “Mainers” is so fucking annoying. The one where they’re digging clams in the morning? Get outta here. Find me ONE Mainer who digs clams and has any interest in making their way to “fitzy” later that day. And when I say a clam digger I mean someone who actually does that to make money. Not someone whose parents have beach access at their summer house.
I hate how they call it fitzy. I hate how expensive it is. I hate how they act like “Mainers” but an average Mainer could barely afford to take their family there AND get something to eat.
I hate that they clog up the neighborhood. I hate that Harbor Fish feels like they need to jump on the bandwagon.
I hate the mascot and its name: Moxie.
I did actually like their pride month post they put out but again, it feels kinda disingenuous. I’m sure there’s more that bugs me but this feels like a good place to start.

Oh and the “tradition” of throwing an oyster over their shoulder at “fitzy” is so annoying.
Looking at daycares in the area and not a single one lists the price. So fucking annoying.
