Charge % (Ghost) Changing

Today I did some landscaping and drove my truck about 50 miles with nearly half of it filled with topsoil. My battery went from 80% to 71%. At the end of the day, I emptied out the top soil and parked the truck the estimated charge said 82%. I know the truck didn’t magically charge itself, it is in the 90s today in Dixie.
I’m guessing this happened because the batteries are warm from the heat etc kind of like the opposite when it gets really cold and range drops. I plugged the truck in and it immediately starting cooling itself oft. Is this normal operating procedure? First summer in Dixie with an EV

Leak in basement

40+ year old house, intermittent basement leak during heavy rain. Feeling defeated. What would you investigate next?

I’ve been in this 40+ year old house for four years now. It’s a combination of stucco, brick, and wood veneer. I am getting really frustrated with an intermittent basement leak that only occurs during heavier rains.
The leak appears high up in a corner of the basement, not at the floor. Sometimes when the water comes in, I can actually hear what sounds like someone going down a water slide inside the wall. Other times it’s just a slow drip.
Things I’ve ruled out or addressed:

The roof is only about 10 years old with architectural shingles, so I don’t think I have an overall roof failure.
Above the leak area, there was a small gutter that handled a lot of roof water. It was undersized and had a poor gutter cover.
I upgraded it to the largest residential gutter I could and installed a waterfall-type gutter guard to slow the water down.

I thought I had solved it, but after a moderately hard rain I started getting drips in that basement corner again.
Downspouts are buried and discharge around the side of the house, so I don’t think this is simple surface runoff.
The leak is high enough that I have a hard time believing it’s groundwater or hydrostatic pressure.
Things I’m wondering about:

Missing or inadequate flashing where the roof meets the wall or fascia.
Step flashing or kickout flashing issues.
Water getting behind the stucco or brick veneer.
Problems where the gutter attaches to the fascia.
The front patio is original (43 years old) and probably due for replacement, but the leak only happens during hard rain events, not normal rains.
Some issue with the buried downspout system, although the leak being high up makes me question that.
At this point, who would you call?
Roofer?
Stucco/exterior envelope specialist?
Mason?
Waterproofing company?
General contractor?

I’m honestly feeling defeated because I thought I had fixed it, and seeing it drip again after this latest storm was discouraging. Any ideas on what you’d investigate next?

Anyone know how to get Gemini installed? I got a push notification on my truck to a profile to install but not to mine? Anyone know how to get the process going?

Fast Charging with Tesla and Other Networks via GM EV

Hey - Novice question, but if I join the tesla membership thing for fast charging, how do you initiate a charge with a GM ev to get the discount etc? Do you use the Tesla app or do you use the GM Energy Pass? I have done 99% of my charging on level 2. Curious what the process is.

Truck Charging Itself

I’ve noticed the past few days my truck will increase in battery % after doing some city driving? I am using powerbase and don’t use regen. Should I be concerned? It will usually just tick up +1%.

Leaky Corner in Basement - Gutters?

I own a 43 year old house in Georgia. It was built with the concrete cinder blocks as the foundation which was code then but are porous, but that is probably not my challenge .

When it rains I get a drip of water or more where the frame meets the foundation. The downspout discharge right near here but I have them buried and going out the side of the house, even if it were the downspout discharge I think the leak is too high.

This is my problem I think.

The actually gutter along the roof for this area is really small like 6 feet long and it is collecting like 25% of the roofs rain and when the gutter fails at the roof, somehow water is getting behind the fascade and shooting down into the basement (I think)

A few months ago I increased the size of this gutter to the largest size gutter for residential and added like a cascading filter thing to slow the water entering the gutter and splash guard on the back to keep the water in the gutter.

It seems to work 95% of the time. We had a torrential downpour and I was in the basement and heard the water coming down almost like waiting for someone to come out of a water slide. It leaked like a few bath towels worth of water in my basement.

Again I think the leak is from the gutter failing and getting into the house framing, could be gutter discharge but that sits lower then where the leak appears.

Anyone have a good solution or idea?

Thermostats too Cold

I got 2x ecobee premiums from Costco. I replaced some older Nests. Pretty straightforward install. Both of my thermostats display super low temps while the ac is running. How do you fix this? Never had this issue with the Nest. I have sensors in other rooms so it messes up the average and I have HomePods in many rooms so I know the thermostat temp is way off.

I’m thinking about picking up a Level 1 charger for occasional use (like beach rentals, etc.). The GM one is out of stock and seems a bit pricey for something I won’t use often.

Does anyone have a Level 1 charger they’d recommend—preferably with a longer cord since outlet locations can be unpredictable?
