Getting started but need to make sure if this is broken or I'm just clueless on how to make it work. When I press Play, the deck starts running but automatically switches back and forth between the forward and reverse green indicator lights

During this, I can hear mechanical sounds coming from inside the cassette deck. There is also a brief burst of static/hiss in the speakers each time it switches direction, but no actual audio from the tape itself.

Google reverse dosent show me what exactly this is. How much is it worth and what's the exact model thanks
