Has anyone seen some of her stuff? She claims hills science diet is bad and PPP is bad due to the ingredients being big allergens but then says brands like Jinx, which is on her chewy storefront, is better to feed when it’s #1 ingredient is beef. (Which is the #1 dog allergen)

I’ve seen her videos a few times and she claims vets do not know pet nutrition since they didn’t go to school specifically for nutrition and that she did so she knows all better than a vet.

Fear mongering people that don’t know any better out of feeding well made food that’s vet recommended is a sad position to take in life.

Here are a few different people explaining a few things she’s said with actual research to back their claims.

in this video someone is showing her comments where she calls veterinarians “brainwashed” and claims the rabies vaccination is “toxic”-

Best Food topper?

I currently feed PPP salmon and rice, they’ve been on it for over a year and do well on it. Recently I’ve felt like maybe they are bored of their food. I was thinking of cheaper food toppings, canned wet dog food in a beef or chicken flavor to add a little bit more flavor. My question is, do I need to stick with pro plan since it’s just a topper or would it be okay to get a cheaper brand? If so what brand would you guys recommend?

My dogs are 80lb and 60lb pitbulls so pro plan wet food even as a topper would get a bit pricy even doing 1/4th or half a can a day for each.

The 60lb Pit is more picky and doesn’t like a lot of other food toppers like freeze dried liver or things like that. It also has to be something that coats the food completely or they will pick it out and only go back to their bowl hours later after realizing they aren’t getting anything else that’s why my thoughts are canned food. Broth doesn’t work, they will just lick up what they can and leave the food to dry out and get stuck in the bottom of the bowl.

what is he?

76lbs as of right now, vets say he’s about 2 years old.

Got him almost a year ago today and the shelter told me pit/lab mix but with the brindle it makes me think not a lab. Constantly have people asking if he’s Great Dane or Cane Corso. Shelter also told me he was 2 when I got him and the vets said that was incorrect.
